Effects of Acute Exposure: This undiluted material is severely irritating to the eyes and mucous membranes and a skin irritant. It may cause alkaline eye burns.

a) Skin Contact: Material is a skin irritant. Prolonged or repeated contact may cause redness, burning, swelling and dermatitis.

b) Eye Contact: Direct contact or exposure to mists may cause burning, tearing, redness, swelling, corneal burns and eye damage.

c) Ingestion: Accidentally swallowing this material may cause severe irritation of the mouth, throat, esophagus and stomach.

d) Skin Absorption: N/A

e) Inhalation: Exposure to the undiluted material is unlikely. Exposure to mists from the diluted material may cause irritation of the nose and throat.
